Clarinet

If you play clarinet, then you will need:

1. A clarinet (wood preferred) with case
2. A mouthpiece and cap
3. Ligature
4. Reeds
5. Cleaning swab
6. Cork Grease
7. Mouthpiece patch
8. Thumb cushion
9. Reed case (for 4 reeds)

6th-8th Graders also need:

1. Black 1” 3-ring binder
2. 10 plastic sheet protectors
3. 5 tab dividers
4. Pencil Bag/Pencils
5. Notebook Paper

Books:

1. Essential Elements Book 1 (5th and 6th Grade) for Clarinet
2. Essential Elements Book 2 (6th - 8th Grade) for Clarinet

Mouthpieces: choose from Clark W. Fobes Debut (budget-friendly), Vandoren 5RVLyre (preferred), or D’Addario Reserve X0 or X5 (preferred)

Box of Reeds: choose from Vandoren blue box or D’Addario Reserve. Strength: 2.5 or 3 (for beginners)
